Remember how when we suggested that what was happening here in America was Genocide? How the Progressives, like Charles Blow, would chuckle indulgently and suggest we’d lost our pea brains?

It’s an extension of a now-familiar theme: some version of “take our country back.” The problem is that the country romanticized by the far right hasn’t existed for some time, and its ability to deny that fact grows more dim every day.
President Obama and what he represents has jolted extremists into the present and forced them to confront the future. And it scares them. *Snip*
A Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday took a look at the Tea Party members and found them to be just as anachronistic to the direction of the country’s demographics as the Republican Party. For instance, they were disproportionately white, evangelical Christian and “less educated … than the average Joe and Jane Six-Pack.” This at a time when the country is becoming more diverse (some demographers believe that 2010 could be the first year that most children born in the country will be nonwhite), less doctrinally dogmatic, and college enrollment is through the roof. The Tea Party, my friends, is not the future.
You may want “your country back,” but you can’t have it. That sound you hear is the relentless, irrepressible march of change. Welcome to America: The Remix.
I have some awkward questions here: did you ask for “America the remix?” I know I didn’t. So who did? And can we treat them as traitors yet?
Take careful note because this is how the Left does things, step one pursue a goal despised by the people, step two mock them incessantly when they complain about said change, step three when they think the change is too far along to change rub the people’s face in it and tell them that its too late and that they have lost.
To me the sad part is that so many will have to die because of the sheer hubris of those who think that White men and Women will lay down and die.
Think this isn’t purposeful, here’s a hint from England....
The huge increases in migrants over the last decade were partly due to a politically motivated attempt by ministers to radically change the country and “rub the Right’s nose in diversity“, according to Andrew Neather, a former adviser to Tony Blair, Jack Straw and David Blunkett.
He said Labour’s relaxation of controls was a deliberate plan to “open up the UK to mass migration” but that ministers were nervous and reluctant to discuss such a move publicly for fear it would alienate its “core working class vote”.
Oh, and a reminder of the correct definition of genocide...
Generally speaking, genocide does not necessarily mean the immediate destruction of a nation, except when accomplished by mass killings of all members of a nation. It is intended rather to signify a coordinated plan of different actions aiming at the destruction of essential foundations of the life of national groups, with the aim of annihilating the groups themselves. The objectives of such a plan would be the disintegration of the political and social institutions, of culture, language, national feelings, religion, and the economic existence of national groups, and the destruction of the personal security, liberty, health, dignity, and even the lives of the individuals belonging to such groups.
Still think this isn’t genocide?

I am really tired of people associating the Tea Party movement with Republicans. Most Tea Partiers are probably Conservative [big difference] but not exclusively. Many Democrats/liberals who are having buyers remorse are joining the movement as well.
Time will tell. November cant come soon enough.
