Hello, I'm a college student from the mid west. I stumbled upon your website and affiliate chimpout.org while researching root causes of genocide. After a while examining an article about Rwanda I realized a profuse amount of racial profanity was being thrown around and was intrigued by your perspectives. It seems that your site is articulated through an ethnocentric view of the world. Your defense for using ethnic slurs is stated on your "about" page essentially saying that its okay to call African Americans niggers because they use the term to refer to themselves and have their own slurs to sling at whites just the same. However, it seems that the issue is less about the words used but rather the messages they convey that are more at issue. How do you feel using words that so many people associate with hate and ethnic segregation helps our relations?
My studies have led me to find that strong ethnic differentiation in cultures is a key step on the path to genocidal atrocities. Almost every country has been affected by ethnic cleansing in one way or another. Europeans destroyed most of the Native Americans. Europeans also managed to do the same in Australia but were successful in eradicating the natives completely. Jews among others were heavily cleansed during World War II. Tibetans, Armenians, Poles, Chinese, Yugoslavs, Ethiopians and many more have been killed in the hundreds of thousands in the name of ethnic superiority. Often slurs are developed to help perceive the victimized people as less than human. The Tutsis were called so because it meant cockroach. Ethiopians called their Jewish neighbors hyena people and created myths about them transforming into hyenas at night to steal from the Christian population. White supremacists seem to equate African Americans as chimps. Now I don't believe there will ever be another ethnic cleansing on US soil, but I'm interested to know how you feel that your use of racial slurs is actually beneficial to our relations with each other. Sure, they use slurs right back but how do you believe that responding in kind is progressive towards a beloved community? Is the idea of races being at peace with each other a goal that you feel is ultimately unachievable or merely undesirable? What IS your ultimate goal in spreading an ethnocentric view of the world? Do you feel that a person's ethnicity is a stronger indicator of their social tendencies and level of education than evaluating each person on an individual basis?
I appreciate your patience in humoring my curiosity. I have little experience with racial tensions and merely seek to better understand alternative perspectives. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you.

It seems to me that you are making a statement more than searching for answers. I will humor you though.

Would you ask the same question to a predominantly black ran website? Blacks feel entitled to do and say anything they want to whites, and are protected by civil rights laws. Whites are constantly plagued with racial attacks by blacks, yet no laws are put in place to protect us. This imbalance is what hurts our relations with each other.

Its a goal that a long time ago I thought was achievable. Due to the current [continued] climate within the black community, I do not see being at peace with blacks mainly, but other races as well, as achievable. Whites shouldn't have to be the only people doing the work to achieve goals, yet we are the race that is expected to do not only our own work to achieve peace, but other's work as well.

Every race demonstrates ethnocentric views, yet you seem to only be focused on the white view and write as though whites are wrong in this. You can call our views whatever you want, but our goal is to achieve the same kind of justice that blacks want. Fairness. The difference between what whites consider fair and blacks is very different though. Whites want personal responsibility, equal civil rights protection, etc. Blacks don't want to take personal responsibility for anything. and want "special rights" instead of civil rights - and they are getting everything they want handed to them. Not fair.

I feel that a person's ethnicity is a very strong factor in determining social tendencies and level of education. Race does not indicate a person's potential though. From birth, every race has the potential to do great things. Unfortunately as most blacks live their lives, they show that they are either unable or unwilling to achieve the same personal potential that whites do despite all the special treatment they get from whites in the form of special programs designed only for them, financial hand outs, dumbed down tests and requirements, etc.
So, the fact you have zeroed in on what names are used to define people actually shows you have no idea what the root of the problems are. Keep studying and asking questions. Hopefully you and others will someday get it.

Well Centzon, I would have responded sooner but Mother Nature is being a bitch lately, so I been tired out from fighting the elements. I too, am from the Mid-West.

Name me one people that isn’t ethnocentric. There isn’t one. Now to avoid being ethnocentric, does that mean that everyone should jettison their cultural views, heritage, and standards?

I hate double standards and will not allow myself to be encumbered by them. More often than not, I don’t use the word nigger, normally I say Negro, colored, or black, nor do I use such derogatory terms collectively as a slur against the entire race but individuals and groups that cling to a criminal, predatory, anti-social, anti-white culture that.

Oh do you mean another such word like “racist”? A common slur against my people. I have been told by blacks and Hispanics that only white people can be “racist” which sounds quite “racist” to me. So when someone says that they are “anti-racist” or want to eradicate “racism”, does it really mean that they are anti-White or they want to eradicate white people. I think so. The word “racist” was coined by Leon Trotsky, who used the word to justify their mass slaughter of the Kulaks.

In fact, Stalin and Mao, who were supposedly “anti-racist” killed millions upon millions more people than Hitler did. Actions speak louder than words.

First off, our relations can’t be helped. This is as good as it is going to get. Has dredging up slavery, Jim Crow, etc. repeatedly and relentlessly helped our relations? Has the propagation of the black anger/ white guilt paradigm from early grade school onward helped our relations? Has substituting that black anger/ white guilt paradigm in lieu of the Golden Rule helped our relations. Has fostering double standards against White people helped our relations? Has harping on slavery abolished in this country while saying nothing about slavery in Africa, the Middle East, and Haiti helped our relations. Has encouraging identity politics and pride in heritage in other racial groups and fostering self hatred and disdain in heritage in White people helped our relations. Has forcing Lou Dobbs off the air while keeping La Raza mouth piece Geraldo Rivera helped our relations. Has groups like the New Black Panther, Nation of Islam, La Raza, and La Mecha helped our relations? Has talk of reparations and amnesty for illegal aliens when millions of Americans, of all colors can’t find work, helped our relations?
The point is it takes more than one to Tango.

What happened between the Indians and the Europeans has been happening all the North and South American continent for thousands and thousands of years before the advent of the White man.

Really then there are quite a few living breathing Australian Aborigines that need explaining.

The examples you give seem to cling to the truism that good fences make good neighbors. The problems arose from people with different and incompatible languages, religions, and cultures coming together more than calling each other nasty names. I been called many nasty names and I’m not dead yet.

I am not a White supremacist, I am a non-supremacist. One race ruling another has always led to tragedy. Just because I am Pro-White doesn’t I am anti-everyone else. I don’t care what another person as long as they’re not being jerks about it. If the races can’t play nice together they should leave each other alone.
As far as it goes, I don’t call them chimps, and I don’t call them African Americans either. I call them black, Negro or colored.
Incidentally, zoologists have that humans and chimpanzees share more than 98% DNA. Desmond Morris has written that the human race is a branch of the primate family. Is Desmond and the other zoologists a bunch of Klansmen picking a racial scrap.

Sometimes a little ethnic bantering is healthy as a pressure valve. I don’t give anyone more than what they can take. The internet is my locker room. I keep my locker room talk inside the locker room. However, I am used to looking people in the eye and saying what’s on my mind. I live by the Golden Rule with the Bronze loophole : Do unto others as you would have them do unto you but if someone is a jerk, put them in their place.

Beloved communities are formed from the bottom up by people who choose to be together not from the top down forcing together people who rather apart from each other. Free will is the key, not coercion from government nor outside agitation from the media, state, and university.

At this point at time I believe it is unachievable for the most part. I prefer a pro-Western level headed non-white to an anti-culture, anti-heritage self and ancestor hating, guilty white asshole.

While there is an oddball in every bunch, there still is some truth in stereotypes. Each race has it’s own set of strengths, talents, weaknesses and flaws. In discussing race with me, the question is not good or bad, or even superior or inferior. The question is compatibility. Just because different people and cultures collide doesn’t mean they’re bad, it just means they should leave each other alone.
