07/03/2009: "New rules for comment posting"
Not rules really, just a different way of handling comments.
From now on, comments can't be added to blog posts that have scrolled off the main page. Items will usually stay on the main/front page for at least a couple of weeks if not more, so that should give people plenty of time to comment on a post if interested.
The reason for this is due to cowardly spammers/trolls who think they have something to say tend to dig deep into the site and post ridiculous comments on items that most people wont see. I don't know why they do this, but they do. Its really interesting how some get their jollies.
Also, if you are found to be posting from a known spamming ip addy that is used generally for bot and other scurrilous activities, the ip will be blocked once discovered.
Not that this site is a hotbed of excitement LOL! Its small, and I kind of like it like that. I am doing this so that I won't have to do a lot of administrative crap in the future. If you are a regular poster here and for some reason cant post due to our blocking your entire block of ip's, please contact me via the contact page.

Q, if you used the email addy on the contact page, did you remove the "NOSPAM" part of the address before you sent it? I haven't seen anything. The addy for this site is not my usual email addy. If you have Jessa's addy, just send it to her, then she can forward to me, then I will have your addy and add it to my address book. :)
