03/31/2009: "I am sick to death of it all!"

Not any blogging lately. Why? Because I am completely sick to death over the state of this country, the state of my city which is a dying cesspool of urban crime and failed political leadership [same for why I am so sick of this country], and because we all seem to be seeing/recognizing the same things over and over but nothing seems to change.

I figured that since stupid Americans voted for Obama for President, we would see many more blacks feeling empowered, and we could all have hope for the black race that blacks on the whole would start prospering more, and would be held to the same standards as whites. Has this happened? No! You still see the same mouths squawking about racism, the same TV programs finding racism where there is none, and the same people constantly standing with their hands out.

I figured that once Obama started showing his true colors or lack of ability to lead this country people would start rebelling against him. Has this happened? Nope. The same liberal media who chastised Bush every chance they got, continue to put a positive spin on Obama's horrible policy and actions, many of which are similar to Bush's.

My city has become nearly unlivable. Far too many blacks committing far too many crimes and it sickens me. Where can I go to escape urban sprawl? If anyone has a long term suggestion I would happy to take it into consideration.

I am rather discouraged and am not sure if anything I write, or say will make a difference. The horse is dead and I am tired of beating it.

Public discourse is manipulated and cencored, private discource is more revealing.

I live in Iowa, if you can take the winters, it's not so bad, no utopia but not bad. You might want to consider the Mid-West. Folks are nicer here too.

Okay, nothing will happen tommorrow but let this be a forum in which to vent.

Ann,
I was in a conversation not long ago with someone about Canada. Essentially, they were saying it was like growing up in the '50's. People were friendly, you could leave your car and house unlocked, well, you get the picture.

Then it all made sense. It's to damn cold for many of the darker races so the population is still relatively homogeneous.

Don't give up just yet though, enough people, inlcuding liberals, are getting a taste of multiculturalism and finding it doesn't taste so good.

The more I see of Obama's compassion for the economically disadvantaged, the more I'm willing to accept him as my President (regardless of his race/heritage.) Would it surprise you to know that I already live in the midwest?

I think I will look to move to the area near where my parents are in the south. It is mostly white populated with rarely a black or mexican seen. They are there, but in much smaller numbers.

Life is really slow and simple there but I could get used to it.

I live in the Dayton, OH area. The crime reports of last night really got me seriously thinking about moving. Major shoot out, thugs tried to get away and dragged a police officer with their suv. Coal burner mother and thug boyfriend torture their children by beating them and tying them to the toilet seat for so long the poor children's feet and lower legs were swollen and bottoms bruised. Mother was arrested, dad still on the run.

And that's only two reports for one night. I could go on and one but you get the idea.

For my job I have to go into these neighborhoods on a daily basis. I used to love my job now I don't. I don't even want to go to work if its in one of those neighborhoods. Since most of what I do is in the ghetto, my job has become very depressing. Trying to help people who either don't deserve it, don't want it, don't need it but insist on it, or don't do what they are supposed to once the do get it [help], has become more than I feel I can do. Its different in white neighborhoods. Totally different in fact.

Yep, time to go south. Not Atlanta south, mind you lol.
